Happy New Year - Color Throwdown #173

Back again with the first Color Throwdown challenge of 2012!! I'm the host this week and here are the colors I've chosen to ring in the new year:

And I'm letting this sweet little PI - Cause For Celebration help me. She's colored with Copic markers and her dress is paper pieced, except her sash is colored. She's matted with an Oval Open Scallop Die-namics die cut and the sentiment was stamped on the smaller flag from First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. The flower was made with the just released Rolled Scallop Flower Die-namics. Oh. My. Goodness. I do love that flower die. The leaves were done with Upsy Daisy Die-namics and then I added some sweet gingham ribbon and some red Dew Drops to balance things out.

Here's the inside:

Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:

Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD173 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including January's Guest Designer.
